Art Projects Update; Box painting, Charms, and Stuffed Animals

Hello!

I mentioned in an earlier post that I would do a blog entry on the artsy things I've been up to in the past little while, so without further ado...

I've been working on painting Beetlejuice on a little wooden box from the Dollarama! How I love Beetlejuice :')

I recently made a new stuffed plush. This one is (surprise surprise) a Bat! An off-white coloured Bat ;D and his name is B.B. -> Named after the mass murderer Beyond Birthday (more commonly known as B.B.) in the book Death Note; The Los Angeles B.B. Murder Cases by Tsugumi Ohba, and Takeshi Obata. The character B.B. has Shinigami eyes, meaning he can see exactly when a person will die and their name. Shinigami eyes are usually red; hence the red button eyes I gave this fella'.

I also made these two strawberry friendship charms for me and my best friend/fellow plague rat Michelle. The first photo on the left is her and her charm that she keeps on a necklace chain (I stole the photo from her blog), and the the other two are pictures of my charm that I keep on a bracelet.

Finally, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I've been working on a charm bracelet for a childhood friend of mine! The charms are baked, but are not painted yet.
From left to right; a cinnamon bun, ice cream cone, piece of cake, doughnut, cupcake, and Poptart! The lighting makes them sort of hard to see, but I think it will be cute when its finished (and of course I'll post photos)!

I also made a post a couple days ago about clay commissions I have done, so click ---> here <--- if you'd like to see those!

On another note, I've also asked the music teacher at my school if she would teach me Violin, and she has agreed to teach me twice a week during lunch! I'm very excited, and just for fun I think I'll take some photos of my lovely violin to post on this blog ^.^

Have a good evening~

Clay Commissions #1

Hellooo,

As promised here are the photos of my clay commissions!

Piplup earrings (Pokemon)

Pokeball earrings (with rhinestone centers- which you can't see because of the lighting) and  a Snorlax key chain (pokemon).

I'm glad these are all done, and my 'clients' -I suppose we could call them-, were extremely pleased!

I've been working on several other small projects, so I'll do a larger post in a few days!

Have a good night~

Random Life Events and Projects

Good evening,

This is really just a random post about what I've been up to lately...

First off, I dyed my hair over the weekend. It's a much brighter red/orange now, although people can't really seem to tell! :O so, I'll compare my hair from before to my hair now;

Notice a difference now?

I also made yummy, healthy cocoa mint cookies (click here for the recipe). I'm really addicted to cooking and baking extremely healthy food. I have to say that I have been VERY much enjoying this cauliflower pizza crust lately. Personally, I think its better than traditional crust. I've made it twice so far (and plan to make it many, many more times). It is so delicious, and healthy!

I also painted pumpkins on my nails this weekend!

And I've been working on a new Polymer Clay project;

It's a charm bracelet for my childhood friend. The charms are baked, but are not painted yet.
From left to right; a cinnamon bun, ice cream cone, piece of cake, doughnut, cupcake, and Poptart! The lighting makes them sort of hard to see, but I think it will be cute when its finished (and of course I'll post photos)!

***I will be making a post very soon about artsy projects that I've been doing. I also have quite a few other blog posts in progress!***

Finally, my best friend Michelle moved to Nova Scotia this passed weekend. Friday was our last day at school together.
I think a lot of things will be different, but we just have to put one foot in front of the other and do our best to continue on and live life the best way we know how. And its not like we'll never see each other again.

I made the two of us matching strawberry charms too, I wore mine on a bracelet today;

There's a story behind why I chose strawberries, but I'm too lazy at the moment to explain. HOWEVER, Michelle did a lovely job of explaining it on her blog (that I forced her to make so that I could stalk her life) so check it out here.

I miss you already Micha-chan </3
Have a good evening everyone,
~Anne

Kawaii Kitty and Bunny Polymer Clay Charms

As I have mentioned in earlier posts, I'll be going on vacation tomorrow for about two weeks. While I'm on vacation, I will be seeing some close relatives so I decided I would make semi-matching Polymer Clay charms as gifts.

*WARNING:* picture-heavy. (As always ;)

The black kitty wearing a pumpkin is the one I made for myself ;)
